Summary of the course

This semester was a very interesting one and especially in my English course because we studied about global warming as well as we improved our writing and reading skills in addition with surfing the internet for information and summarizing it. The Global warming topic was boring at the beginning but after I felt that it is very useful and has a lot of information that a person must know. It gave me some information about dangerous things that might occur due to Global Warming. Another advantage of this course was teaching us how to create and use blog which will be useful for me to upload some precious information which I would like to share with my friends.

Three ways which I try to be one of the environment friends in the U.A.E.

In my opinion talking about the causes and effects about global warming is not enough. Each and every person must take an action towards this universal issue. I will outline some of the ways that I try to help in saving my environment.

First, my friends and I always try to go out with less number of cars which means that we reduce the gas that is produced by the car. A second thing is that I try to make my family use fewer plastic bottles and cans because they don’t recycle them. Last is that we try to read newspapers online to save papers and use the internet to send documents and files to friends to save our trees from being cut and made papers with.


In conclusion, we need to make more advertisements and ways to make people start saving the earth with us and make our life safer and easier.

What is Global Warming ?

Global warming is dangerous issue in this part of our life because of the human activity. This is a matter of working together to save our world.


Global warming is a general term that describes an increase in the earth's average temperature. It is because of the heat from the sun that enters the Earth's atmosphere and is trapped by greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and water vapor. That means that the more we burn fuel of cars or some other energies we make it increase more and more.

The effects that are caused by global warming will be tremendous. Some of the main effects that I will mention are melting ice and the rise in the sea level which makes a big danger to coastal cities and islands. Another effect is heat waves which is dangerous for living things due to the change in the surrounding environment.

This must be taken in consideration due to its potential consequences to the planet.

Hi, I am ali a student at AbuDhabi Men's College in the United Arab Emirates. I was born in Abu Dhabi. I am originally from Ras Al Khaimah which is a city in the United Arab Emirates. Ras Al Khaimah is a nice city which has a mixture of old and modern lifestyle. I am one of 3 boys in our family. I come in the middle of the two. My interests are sports and action movies. In sports i like to play football ,volleyball and horse riding. I play football usually every week while volleyball is once every month whereas horse riding twice a week. Action movies are the best of what i like to watch. I go every weekend to the cenima to watch a movie.

Global warming is a very important issue in this time of our life due to the things happening around the world. I feel that people must take this thing as the first thing in their priorities because this is a matter which will affects us and our future generation.
